Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 announced on May 27 that the company established a global marketing partnership with short video mobile app TikTok.
TikTok is a short-form video platform that is used to create and share 15-second videos. It is currently available in 75 different languages and services 150 countries and regions including Korea, China, and the US.
The app is taking the world by storm through its easy-to-use video editing and sharing features. TikTok was so popular on a global scale that it surpassed YouTube to become the most downloaded app in the Apple App Store in the first quarter of 2018, according to market intelligence firm Sensor Tower.
The new partnership will allow DTC stores on Cafe24’s platform to utilize TikTok as a marketing channel, making it easier to expand their business reach to consumers around the world.
