Cafe24 and SKKU join hands to promote online entrepreneurshipPress release
Cooperation to bolster entrepreneurship through Cafe24’s Startup Support biz
Plenty of hands-on education to maximize field experience and success rates
Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 is stepping up its support for online business entrepreneurship in cooperation with the Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) Campus Town Project Board, Seoul City, and Jongno District.
The Campus Town Project Board aims to collaborate with universities, public, and private companies to support young entrepreneurship and stimulate regional economies. Accordingly, Cafe24 plans to provide priority office space at its Startup Support center to entrepreneur hopefuls selected by the board. Any student in Seoul can apply for consideration, regardless of their age. Selected students will receive full funding from the board to go toward their office rent.
Cafe24’s shared offices are complete with everything a business needs to operate, including offices, meeting rooms, photo studios, and printing rooms. Also, the facility provides easy access to a range of support services like 1:1 expert consultations and e-commerce educational courses. Cafe24 and SKKU will be offering hands-on education programs so that students can obtain plenty of field experience. Students can sign up for purchasing tours at the Dongdaemun and Namdaemun markets, courses in online store designing, and lessons for taking professional product photos. In all, students will have access to resources that will help increase their entrepreneurial success rates.
Jaesuk Lee, CEO of Cafe24, said, “We hope this collaboration with academia to support future entrepreneurs will heighten the enthusiasm around e-commerce entrepreneurship.” He added, “Cafe24 will continue to work closely with various entities to help young entrepreneurs succeed.”
Last November, Cafe24 and SKKU signed an MOU to boost entrepreneurship and regional prosperity.
