Cafe24 launches delivery service through CU convenience stores

Press release

Package delivery available 24/7 all year round via 13,000 CU locations
Up to 45% saved in costs without additional delivery service contracts

Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 and convenience store company CU are launching a package delivery service for online businesses called CU Post.

The CU Post service allows DTC businesses to send packages through 13,000 CU convenience store locations all around the country. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Online merchants can take advantage of the year-round logistics schedule to send packages whenever they want.

The service is available at up to 45% lower rates than existing logistics services. It can be utilized without processing separate contracts with the logistics company. Thus, CU Post is expected to minimize operational costs for merchants.

The CU Post service can be used by all DTCs powered by Cafe24. Businesses and merchants can download the service app through the Cafe24 Store and use it immediately upon registration on the app.

Jaesuk Lee, CEO of Cafe24, said, “Cafe24 aims to boost DTCs’ logistics competitiveness by providing diverse delivery options.” He added, “Cafe24 strives to provide useful services in various areas that DTCs need to grow and succeed.”
