Japanese e-commerce merchants gain global competitiveness with a new payment option
The new Zeus payment gateway service is now available to Cafe24 Japan e-commerce merchants.
Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 said on May 30 that its Japanese platform, Cafe24 Japan, added Japanese payment gateway service Zeus to its payment offerings.
Zeus is a subsidiary of the total fintech solutions company, SBI FinTech Solutions. SBI provides fintech services that are secure and convenient in the growing payment and international money transfer industry. Meanwhile, Zeus launched its payment processing business in 1994 and has since established trust among Japanese businesses with 20 years of know-how on premium systems and security services.
The addition of Zeus payment will allow Cafe24 Japan DTC stores to offer shoppers more convenient checkout options. Zeus payment handles major credit cards, convenience store payments, and more.
Further, Zeus processes global credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, and Discover, allowing convenient payment options to customers worldwide.
Jaesuk Lee, CEO of Cafe24, said, “Cafe24 Japan plans to further support DTCs’ sales growth by adding necessary payment services.” He said, “We plan to establish additional partnerships with global companies in order to provide DTCs in Japan with more competitive advantage both at home and overseas.”
