Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 and educational company, Daekyo<\/a>, are signing an MOU to vitalize their joint Intellectual Property (IP) licensing business.<\/p>

The MOU will enable online brands on Cafe24’s platform to utilize Daekyo’s IP contents conveniently. Going forward, Cafe24 brands will be able to incorporate Daekyo’s popular characters like “Jurassic Cops” into their product planning, development, distribution, and marketing promotions.<\/p>

Cafe24 and Daekyo will also collaborate to build a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) store. The two companies are planning to utilize the IP from children’s television channel, Daekyo Kids TV, in their new media commerce endeavors.<\/p>

“Online brands on Cafe24’s platform will be able to gain a unique competitive edge by integrating Daekyo’s content IP with their business,” said Jaesuk Lee, CEO of Cafe24. “We will continue to partner with industry-leading companies to provide new business opportunities for our merchants.”<\/p>
